THE WILD ONES
4-PACK
The Wild One Series is a limited-edition 4-pack of Red Bus Brewing Company beers, each featuring custom label art by local Folsom artist Brian Wallace.
Every can highlights a real rescued animal from the Folsom Zoo Sanctuary—Lenore the raven, Reggie the raccoon, Grayson the owl, and Kayli the macaque—along with their unique stories.
A portion of proceeds from each pack supports Friends of the Folsom Zoo Sanctuary, a dedicated nonprofit that helps provide lifelong care, enrichment, and education for animals who cannot return to the wild.
After visiting the Folsom Zoo Sanctuary, local artist Brian Wallace had an idea:
What if we told the animals’ stories through beer?
It sounded a little far-fetched—until he shared it over a pint with Erik Schmid, founder of Red Bus Brewing Company. The more they talked, the more it made sense. When they connected with Friends of the Folsom Zoo Sanctuary, the nonprofit that supports the animals and their lifelong care, everything clicked into place.
This collaboration is rooted in love for Folsom and a shared belief in the power of community. The Sanctuary is one of Folsom’s quiet treasures—doing important, compassionate work that often goes unnoticed. This series is our way of shining a light on that work and raising a glass to the animals who call it home.
