2027 Enchanting Rhine Celebration of Beer Cruise with Red Bus Brewing
We are sailing the Rhine River from Basel, Switzerland to Amsterdam, Netherlands from November 13 to 20, 2027 with our friends from Good Carma Travel.  Celebration of Beer cruises enjoy all the typical Rhine River ports of call with additional offerings for the beer connoisseur.  Special beer tastings both in port and on board.  Our ship will be the brand new AMA Fiora (a ship being debuted in 2027, it’s sister ship the Sophia is pictured here).

Day 1 Basel Embarkation

Day 2 Breisach, Germany

  • Breisach: Brasserie du Pays Welche beer tasting OR Breisach wine country bike tour

  • Colmar: Colmar excursion

  • Kaiserstuhl: Kaiserstuhl hike

    • Choose a master-brewer visit and tasting, step back in time in Colmar, hike the volcanic Kaiserstuhl region, or bike through wine country. (B,L,D)

Day 3 Strasbourg, France

  • Strasbourg: “The Gem of Alsace” tour OR Strasbourg bike tour OR Beer tasting tour

    • Explore UNESCO-listed La Petite France and see the Cathédrale de Nôtre Dame, or discover the city by bike; enjoy an Alsatian beer tasting. (B,L,D)

Day 4 Ludwigshaven - Rüdescheim, Germany

  • Heidelberg: “Romantic Heidelberg” excursion OR Philosopher's Path hike

  • Speyer: “Secrets of Speyer” tour

  • Ladenburg: Ladenburg bike tour

  • Rüdesheim: Siegfried's Mechanical Instrument Cabinet OR Rüdesheimer coffee

    • Choose classic Heidelberg, an active hike, historic Speyer, or a bike ride to Ladenburg; later in Rüdesheim, visit Siegfried's Music Cabinet or try Rüdesheimer coffee. (B,L,D)

Day 5 Rüdescheim - Rhine Gorge - Lahnstein

  • Rüdesheim: Gondola ride and wine tasting OR Vineyard hike OR Guided bike tour of the Rheingau

  • Rhine Gorge: Castles along the Rhine scenic cruising

  • Lahnstein: Lahnsteiner Brauerei beer tasting OR Exclusive Burg Lahneck visit

    • Continue exploring Rüdesheim, then sail the castle-studded Rhine Gorge en route to Lahnstein for a brewery tasting or a visit to Burg Lahneck. (B,L,D)

Day 6 Monheim - Düsseldorf, Germany

  • Cologne: Half-day Cologne tour and beer tasting OR Full-day Cologne excursion and beer tasting

  • Düsseldorf: Düsseldorf walking tour & Altbier tasting OR Düsseldorf bike tour

  • Visit Cologne's Old Town with Kölsch tastings (half- or full-day), then in Düsseldorf opt for an Old Town stroll with Altbier tasting or a guided bike tour. (B,L,D)

Day 7 Utrecht - Amsterdam, Netherlands

  • Utrecht: Walking tour OR Beer tasting

  • Amsterdam: Scenic cruising OR Canal cruise OR A Taste of Amsterdam**

    • Explore Utrecht by foot or enjoy a beer tasting; cruise into Amsterdam for a canal tour or a culinary 'Taste of Amsterdam.' **Operation depends on docking location; an alternative tour may be substituted. (B,L,D)

Day 8 Amsterdam Disembarkation

  • Amsterdam: RIVER CRUISE DISEMBARKATION

    • Bid farewell to Amsterdam and prepare for your return flight home. (B)
